Vodafone Is compatible with Voicemail.

Vodafone voicemail is automatically set up by default when you purchase your mobile phone. To receive our voicemail messages on your mobile phone your voicemail should be activated and you need to know your PIN number.

Your voicemail PIN number is different to your 'Security code' and 'PUK code'.
Please make sure that know your voicemail PIN number before calling. If you do not know your voicemail PIN number, please refer to the instructions below.

To Activate your Vodafone voicemail:
Just dial 1211 from your phone and then press send.

To setup or change your voicemail security pincode for your mobile phone Dial 121 followed by send.

When you are connected Press 1 for the main menu Press 42 to access the security settings.

Press 2 to set your security code Then you can enter your new voicemail pincode.

Note: Obvious pincodes like 0000, or 1111 are not accepted by Vodafone. If your PIN number is 3333 (default PIN number) you will need to change it otherwise we cannot deliver your greeting.

Try to enter something memorable like a birthday e.g.: 08 Jan (0801).

When your chosen voicemail greeting is being transferred you must allow all calls go to your voicemail service. Otherwise the voicemail transfer will fail.

To set immediate divert dial 1212 send (this will divert all calls to your voicemail service)
If you cannot divert by dialing 1212 it will happen automatically if:

your phone is switched off you are outside network coverage you are already engaged on another call the network is busy you have selected the Divert Immediate option you are a Pay As You Talk customer and you are out of credit.

To set the divert so calls go to voicemail if you are engaged, switched off or unable To set immediate divert dial 1212 send To cancel immediate divert dial 1213 send

Vodafone voicemail Security Information
Your voicemail mailbox is protected from unauthorised access by a security code (PIN number). Two levels of security are available:

Complete - you will be asked to enter your PIN number at all times, whether you are accessing your voicemail from your Vodafone mobile or from another phone.

Standard - you will be asked to enter your PIN number only if you are accessing your voicemail from another phone or if you are calling from abroad.

To change your security settings:
Dial 121 followed by send Press 1 for the main menu Dial 42 to access the security settings Press 2 to set your security code Select Complete security (enter 32) or select Standard security (enter 33).

BTCellnet Is compatible with Voicemail.

Your BT Cellnet voicemail service is supplied free of charge with your subscription. It is also known as the answer phone service. Both Prepaid and Postpaid subscriptions receive this service automatically.

Your voicemail PIN number is different to your 'Security code' and 'PUK code'.
Please make sure that know your voicemail PIN number before calling. If you do not know your voicemail PIN number, please refer to the instructions below.

Our voicemail greetings are only available to users of the standard 901 voicemail service.
This includes all Pay as you Go users. Users of the enhanced 902 business service cannot transfer a greeting at this time.

Your voicemail 901 service must be activated in order to receive your new voicemail greeting.

To activate your voicemail service simply dial 1750 and send from your handset

Your voicemail pincode
To listen to your voicemail messages you can dial 901 from your handset.
Normally you do not need to enter your voicemail pincode, as the network will recognise your mobile phone and give you direct access to your messages.

How do I know what my voicemail pincode is?
If you have never used or changed your voicemail pincode it will be set to the default 8705.
If this is the case, you can use this voicemail pincode to transfer your new voicemail greeting.

Why do I need a voicemail pincode?
When you use a normal fixed line to retrieve your Voicemail messages the network will not give you direct access. Instead you will be requested to enter a valid pincode.
This pincode prevents unauthorised access to your Voicemail messages.

How do I change my voicemail pincode?
You can setup or change your voicemail pincode a often as you like.
Just dial 901 from you mobile.

When connected:
Immediately enter *
Enter 8705

(Or your new pincode, if you have already changed from 8705)
Then select 6 (to change your pincode)
Follow the instructions, to enter your new pincode.
You can use your new pincode to transfer your new greeting immediately.
We recommend you use a memorable number like a birthday (e.g. 12th May = 1205).
PLEASE NOTE: If you enter the incorrect pincode 3 times the Voicemail Service will be temporarily blocked until you activate it again from your mobile handset.

One2One Is compatible with Voicemail.

Your One2One voicemail service is supplied free of charge with your subscription. Both Prepaid and Postpaid subscriptions receive this service automatically. Your One2One voicemail service must be activated in order to receive your new voicemail greeting.

Your voicemail PIN number is different to your 'Security code' and 'PUK code'.
Please make sure that know your voicemail PIN number before calling. If you do not know your voicemail PIN number, please refer to the instructions below.

Your Voicemail Pincode.
When you listen to your voicemail messages you can dial 222 from your handset or keep the "1" button pressed down until your phone dials your voicemail mailbox. If the "1" button does not work you will need to consult your One2One user guide or contant customer services by calling 121 Normally you do not need to enter your Voicemail Pincode, as the network will recognise your mobile phone and give you direct access to your messages.

How do I know what my Voicemail Pincode is?
If you have never used or changed your voicemail pincode it will be set to the default pincode 1210. If this is the case you can enter this pincode and your voicemail greeting will be transferred.

How do I change my voicemail pincode.
Call 222 using your mobile phone and wait for the main menu. (This will happen after you have listened to any new messages you may have received)

Then Press 2 to change mail box features.

Press 1 to change your pincode.

Enter your new pincode followed by the # key.

Your new Voicemail pincode will be saved.

You can immediately use this new pincode to transfer your new greeting.
We recommend you use a memorable number like a birthday (e.g. 30th Dec = 3012).

Why do I need a Voicemail Pincode?
When you use a normal fixed line to retrieve your voicemail messages the network will not give you direct access. Instead you will be requested to enter a valid pincode.
This pincode prevents unauthorised access to your voicemail messages

Orange Is compatible with Voicemail.

Your Orange voicemail service is supplied free of charge with your Mobile phone subscription. It is also known as Orange Answer Phone. Both Prepaid and Postpaid subscriptions receive this service automatically.

Your voicemail PIN number is different to your 'Security code' and 'PUK code'.
Please make sure that know your voicemail PIN number before calling. If you do not know your voicemail PIN number, please refer to the instructions below.

Your voicemail service must be activated in order to receive your new greeting and you must have previously recorded a personal greeting that is longer than 6 seconds.

If your Orange answer phone is currently deactivated call Orange Customer services on 150 from your mobile and request reactivation or call 451 if you are a Just Talk customer.

Your voicemail pincode.
When you listen to your voicemail messages you can dial 123 from your handset.
Normally you do not need to enter your voicemail pincode, as the network will recognise your mobile phone and give you direct access to your messages.

You require a voicemail pincode, when you use a normal fixed line to retrieve your Voicemail messages as the network cannot not give you direct access. Instead you will be requested to enter a valid pincode. This pincode prevents unauthorised access to your Voicemail messages.

How do I know what my voicemail pincode is?
If you have never used or changed your voicemail pincode it will be set to the default 1111.
IMPORTANT: You must change the default pincode 1111 to a different pincode otherwise your new greeting will not be transferred.

How do I change my Orange voicemail pincode.
To change your voicemail pincode (also called 'pin number') Just follow these simple instructions.

Just dial 123 from you mobile.

After any messages in your mailbox you will be hear "main menu"
Select 3 to change your personal options
Select 2 to change your pin number Then enter your new voicemail pincode followed by the # key.

When your new number is repeated to you, press 1 to confirm.

You can use your new pincode to transfer your new voicemail greeting.

Or call 451 if you are a Just Talk customer. Our voicemail greetings will not function if you have your calls answered by Orange Messenger. As your calls are answered by a live operator.
